Follow Me . . .

Many, many people followed Jesus and watched from afar . . . they were known as the multitudes.

Fewer still followed Him closely, saw first-hand and learnt . . . they were known as the disciples.

Let’s be true disciples of Jesus and get close!

Let go of the weights and distractions and cares of this world which slow us down, distract and hinder and let us run the race that is set before us!

What does this look like practically?

Letting go of:

  • Sin

  • Bad habits

  • Entertainment that doesn’t glorify the Lord

    • Movies, TV series, subscriptions, etc.

  • Negatively influencing or time-wasting social media

  • That never-ending job list

  • And the list goes on!

Let go and LET GOD be the first priority in your life.

A powerful sentence was spoken today, one that should challenge and yet exhort:

“Don’t be an unfaithful lover of Jesus”

What does that look like?

Saying we love Him and yet living a life that pursues others.

Let that not be us.

Let us be people sold out in love for Jesus, our One and Only.
